History

Founded in 1981, TELECO is located in Greenville, SC. TELECO began as a single location telephone interconnect company. Within a couple years, TELECO began distributing phone systems to interconnects throughout the US, becoming the largest group of privately owned interconnects in the world, according to Teleconnect magazine. Over the next decade, TELECO made seventeen acquisitions to grow the business and provide sales and service throughout North America. While business phone systems was the founding product line, TELECO has expanded and grown as the industry has changed. Today, TELECO offers Cellular & Public Safety Distributed Antenna Systems, Unified Communications as a Service, Business Phone Systems, TELECO's Perfect View^TM Video Surveillance and Building Access Control, Structured Cabling, and Managed IT Services. TELECO distributes voice, data and video products to dealers throughout the United States. TELECO sells and services communications solutions for some of the largest companies throughout North America. TELECO provides managed services on a local level through corporately owned locations in the Carolina's and South Florida. From its inception, TELECO has always strived to provide a level of service that is second to none, backed by an elite group of manufacturers, vendors, and partners.
